Christmas

I have a new tree wrecker this year. Within a few minutes of us setting up the tree and Hannah had made her way over to start pulling things off.

My favorite new ornament this year--our Owl Percy. He even came with a nest and two eggs. The boys love him.

Our sad gingerbread house this year. Oh well--the boys loved making it and will enjoy eating it on Christmas Eve. They've been given strict "hands off" instructions but Joshua loves to climb up and look at it. One day when I was downstairs with Jacob, we noticed that Joshua was missing and everything was very quiet. As I went upstairs, I just knew that the whole house was probably in pieces. I was surprised to find him next to a very intact house. He waved his finger at me and said "no eating! Just squishing"The orange slices had definitely been squished but he had followed orders. That takes a lot of self restraint for a two year old.
