While I was having contractions, there were men digging up our ditch. We gave up on the creek idea since all the rocks washed away, the ditch had gotten a foot deeper and the pond was filling up with more and more dirt. The men laid pipe down with some drains and we now have a usable side yard. I think it will be a great place for the kids to play away from the water and it is one less hazard for me to worry about!
